Halle Miller will then find the back of the net for Copenhagen, 2 Nothing Golden Knigts. Copenhagen goes on to beat Lyme 8 nothing.
In NAC soccer action, it’s Hermon-DeKalb hosting Colton-Pierrepont.
Tanner Planty chips the ball inside to Tyler Lovely for the shot. Hunter Bouchey scrambles for the save. Lovely later scores the first goal.
Brady Friedel attacks the net, but is squeezed off on the attempt.
Noah McDonald rips a long shot, narrowly deflected over the net by Colts keeper Emmett Murray.
In the second half, on a Carter Brown corner kick, Bouchey makes another of his 16 saves with a deflection over the net.
Lovely then shifts direction, splits the defense, and sets up Cody Trimm for the Colts’ second goal. Final score: Colton-Pierrepont 2, Hermon-DeKalb 0.
In NAC boys action, it’s Massena at Canton.
Robert Palmer tees up the bender. Michael Herrick snags the leaping save.
Will Andes cuts through the defense and drills a top-corner shot. But Herrick grabs another of 27 impressive saves.
Carson Englert gets a chance on net for the Raiders. But Zadok Roiger scoops up the shot.
Andes snakes through the defense and rips a screen shot that finds Its way into the net for the game’s only goal. Canton holds off Massena for a 1-0 win.
