As area teams prepare for the postseason, one local conference race was determined as Genoa and Oak Harbor shared the NBC title. The Comets went 3-0-3 in league play, while the Rockets went 4-1-1, which gave each team nine points. The two squads also battled to a 1-1 tie on Sept. 16. For the Rockets, it is the third straight season they’ve shared the league title since joining the NBC in 2023. Meanwhile, Genoa captured their first league title in program history.

In NLL play, Clay (8-0-1) was slated to face Bowling Green (7-1-1) on Oct. 8 for the Cardinal Division championship.

In SBC play, Woodmore (10-0) can wrap up an outright River Division title with a win over Tiffin Columbian on Oct. 8. A loss would force them into a tie with either Sandusky Perkins or Norwalk, who are both 9-1 and set to face each other in their regular season finale.
