LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Preparations for the Formula 1 Heineken Las Vegas Grand Prix 2025 are underway, with significant road closures and lane reductions scheduled along the Las Vegas Strip Circuit.

From Oct. 12 to Oct. 17, the intersection of Koval Lane and Flamingo Road will be fully closed for the installation of the Flamingo Vehicular Bridge.

Pedestrian access will be partially restricted during this period.

Harmon Avenue will experience overnight lane reductions from Oct. 13 to Oct. 17, with one lane remaining open in each direction.

Similar overnight reductions will occur on Koval Lane from Oct. 20 to Oct. 24.

MGM Resorts’ construction of the Bellagio Fountain Club has led to 24-hour lane reductions on Las Vegas Boulevard southbound until Nov. 10.

The sidewalk in front of Bellagio will also be closed to pedestrians during this time.

Additional overnight lane reductions are planned for Sands Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard, affecting traffic flow through Oct. 31.

The Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) has announced detours for several routes, including Routes 119, 202, and CX, to accommodate the construction work.
