First guy that came to mind was Chad Dawson.

Benavidez is in a great spot. Concerning weight, there’s no need for him to risk anything.

that was a dumb fight anyways

1st the public is never asking for it.

second does crawford even want it? hes probably vacating it and he probably dont want to fight a massive young guy with legs like that

3rd, bena really wants canelo not crawford

4th, if he wins people will just say hes huge and crawford is old and small

I think he has learned a lot about paying attention to his body from the multiple times he missed weight in the past. 175 is not really “loaded”, but it has enough star power there are good fights available for him. I think it is a good choice. Stay where your body is comfortable.

Let see if David can stop Buff Guy Yarde

so far the greats Saul and Artur have outperformed David when it comes to common opponents Caleb and Gvozdyk

Artur ko’d Yarde but was hurt himself 3 to 4 times in the process

David has a better guard than Artur but much less timing and power
who wins the upcoming Morrell-Smith bout?

Benevidez has the chance to be a mega star. And without fighting Canelo or Crawford who are on the last leg of their run. Fighting Yarde on a Saudi show is a great move. Follow that up with smashing Smith at Anfield and then win the undisputed in Vegas against either of the Ruskies. Job done
