A 32-year-old man has been charged after one person was critically injured in a shooting in downtown Toronto last week.
Toronto police said they initially responded to a shooting call in the area of Wellesley Street East and Sherbourne Street shortly after 9:30 p.m. on Sept. 30.
A man approached a group and, without provocation, tried to initiate a fight, police said. Shortly after, he allegedly brandished a gun and discharged it towards the group.
