David Potter, the Whippany-based MMA personality turned satirical rapper, returns with a knockout of a finale in The Miseducation of MMA Volume 3, released on September 26, 2025. Known for pushing the boundaries between combat sports commentary and biting cultural parody, Potter doesn’t pull a single punch here. Teaming up with Broadway singers and musicians from country to R&B, this album spans martial arts and the arts at large. It’s fierce, funny, and fearless, bringing social critique, comedy, and entirely David Potter.

The album kicks into gear with “Charlie Kirk,” a politically charged firestorm that opens with swelling suspense before Potter’s thick, commanding voice breaks through like a heavyweight entering the ring. His bars come loaded with rage and bite, dropping absolute fire with, “If I ain’t won yet, then I ain’t done yet,” delivered with enough venom to burn through the beat.

Then comes “Fuck Disney (The UFC & ESPN Story),” a brilliantly comedic takedown that opens with a jazzy, horn-laced groove. Potter brings several voices, satirizing media moguls and fan culture alike. A thick voice goes on to say, “Oh shit, you already know my evil plans/I am going to take over another brand.” A vehement, screaming voice comes, saying, “You cannot do this!” over cheerful, retro melodies. This deliciously ironic contrast exposes the exploitative, capitalistic industry.

“Where’s Ronda Rousey’s Fine Ass At” turns up the heat with a duet between charismatic male and sensual female vocals. It’s smooth, funny, and absurdly catchy as it sticks like gum on a boxing glove. It goes something like this, “You changed the game/They can’t say the same/They been losing everything but their virginity since the day you were born.”

Finally, “Hulk Hogan in Hell” bursts in with thumping beats and gleeful irreverence, declaring, “Hulk is headed straight to hell!” as anthemic hooks soar above roaring guitars.

With The Miseducation of MMA Volume 3, Potter detonates the trilogy. This mean hook is witty and wild. Check it out on Spotify.
