We are asking for the public’s help to locate a man who is wanted on a warrant for the sexual assault of a woman in Confederation Park last week.
On Friday, Oct. 3, 2025, at approximately 8:10 p.m., the victim was walking along a pathway in Confederation Park, just west of 10 Street N.W. The victim noticed a man looking at her and saw he attempted to speak to her, prompting her to remove her headphones.
The man told her his name was Ethan and said he was 28 years old. He then made an unwanted sexual proposition, which alarmed the woman and caused her to walk away.
The man followed her, pushed her from behind to the ground and sexually assaulted her. The woman fought back and the suspect fled the scene on foot.
On Friday, Oct. 10, 2025, charges against the man were laid by way of warrant. Numerous attempts to locate him have been unsuccessful and we are asking the public for information on his whereabouts.
Ethan Cole LOUIS, 28, is described as approximately 5’8” tall, weighing about 121 pounds, with brown eyes, black hair shaved on the sides and tied in a bun. He also has tattoos on his neck, arms and hands. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a light-coloured hoodie, dark pants and carrying a dark backpack.
He is known to frequent the Beltline area in Calgary.
