Round 8 of the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs begins with the South Point 400 at Las Vegas this Sunday.
After a dramatic and thrilling elimination at the 2025 Charlotte Roval playoff race, the upcoming round 8 brings a lot of excitement packed with opportunity for the drivers to seal a spot in the Championship 4. The 1.5-mile oval, known for its wide racing surface and tire management challenges, has been an example of high-caliber teams.
Last year’s champion, Joey Logano, will return to the track once again after surviving final laps at the Charlotte Roval playoffs. He made it to Las Vegas by four points over Ross Chastain in the Round of 12 elimination race. Meanwhile, Denny Hamlin, Ryan Blaney, Kyle Larson, and William Byron all have big tasks to conquer before the championship slips away from their hands.
