An adult has been rushed to the hospital with serious, potentially life-threatening, injuries, say paramedics, after being stabbed on Sunday evening in downtown Toronto.
Toronto police say just after 6:20 p.m. they were called to the area of Church and Carlton streets for reports of a female who had been stabbed near Yonge and Dundas streets.
There, officers found a victim with a stab wound.
She was transported to the hospital via trauma run, they said.
Police have not released any suspect information at this time.
