Edmonton’s city-owned golf courses have closed for the season.

CTV News reports the last day of golf at the city’s municipal courses was Thanksgiving Monday. Maintenance crews are now concentrating on blowing out their irrigation lines and giving the courses their final cut.

Rundle Park, one of three municipal courses, saw about 40,000 rounds played in 2025, noting it’s been another season of year-over-year growth.

Although temperatures have dipped to single digits, it didn’t stop golfers from coming out one last time to play.
