Last time out, Manchester United beat Sunderland 2-0, picking up three vital points against tricky opposition. In this win, Amorim controversially decided to start Mason Mount over Matheus Cunha.
Amorim was vindicated over his decision, as Mount scored a brilliant goal to put the Red Devils ahead.

After a disaster two years since his £55m move, it was last chance saloon this season for Mount. So far, he’s been so good, staying fit for most of the season and shining when he plays.
Mount has impressed his teammates in training recently, and now Ben Jacobs has told The United Stand that he’s also wowed club executives.
“Mason Mount is loved by Ruben Amorim and the players as well. I can’t tell you how many messages I got from people in and around Manchester United, player camps, and executives.
“They were delighted when Mason Mount scored that goal against Sunderland. It was an instinctive finish of a confident player, and it meant the world to him.
“Ruben Amorim feels Mason Mount can be very important.”
Amorim predicted that Mount would be key, and it looks more and more like the former Chelsea star could make the £55m fee look good value, as he is still only coming into his prime.
Mason Mount should be a sure starter against Liverpool
This weekend, Amorim will be hopeful that Mount can continue his career resurgence as he looks nailed on to start against Liverpool.
Rio Ferdinand tipped Mount to cause Liverpool issues, and it could be the Englishman who decides the game.
Cunha missed training on Thursday, with United giving him and a handful of internationals extra time off to recover, meaning Mount seems like a certainty.
Mount scoring against Liverpool could make the left number 10 position his to lose and also establish him as the first name on Amorim’s team sheet going forward.
We think he will be decisive.
