One star wide receiver will definitely return in Week 7, while one’s availability is in question.
CeeDee Lamb of the Dallas Cowboys will be active on Sunday against the Washington Commanders after missing the past three games with a high-ankle sprain.
After going through two limited practices this week, Lamb said he’s ready to play and will not need a long time to get back into the swing of things.
“I feel like I’m moving around, running around being me,” Lamb said, via ESPN. “Happy as can be obviously just believing in my ankle. Obviously, I feel like it’s back to where I needed it to be.”

Lamb, who suffered the injury in Week 3 against the Chicago Bears, said he could have come back last week but he gained more confidence with the extra week of rest.

“I feel like that’s why we took an extra week just to make sure that I had that comfort,” Lamb said. “Just to make sure that I had that same explosiveness, just to make sure that I had that same stability.”

Potentially missing out on Week 7 is Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua, who suffered an ankle sprain last week against the Baltimore Ravens. He left the game only to return later on, but was not much of a factor.
Nacua has not practiced this week and Rams head coach Sean McVay called him “day-to-day” earlier this week. According to NFL Network, Nacua is expected to miss their London matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars
The Rams are on their bye next week before facing the New Orleans Saints on Nov. 2.

Other notable Week 7 injuries:
There might be a two-headed monster in Carolina as Panthers running back Chuba Hubbard is set to return against the Jets. Hubbard has missed the past two weeks with a calf injury, opening the door for Dowdle to go off with 389 rushing yards and one touchdown. Dowdle is now fifth among running backs for most rushing yards in the NFL.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers look likely to get Mike Evans back this week, but they could be down a different wide receiver against the Detroit Lions. Rookie standout Emeka Egbuka has been dealing with a hamstring injury and missed practice this week. Along with Chris Godwin Jr. and running back Bucky Irving, Egbuka’s absence would be a big hit to the Tampa offense. The Ohio State product is fifth in the NFL with 469 receiving yards and tied for second-most touchdowns (5) among receivers.
J.J. McCarthy remained limited in practice while saying his high right ankle sprain is “getting there” after suffering the injury in Week 2. Minnesota Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell has not said whether McCarthy will return this week or Carson Wentz will be under center against the Philadelphia Eagles.
It’s looking like Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers will miss a fourth straight game as a knee injury has kept him out of practice. Head coach Pete Carroll said earlier this week that Bowers was making progress, but with a bye week next week, he might be better served with the additional rest.
George Kittle is set to return for the San Francisco 49ers against the Atlanta Falcons after suffering a “full tear” of his hamstring in Week 1. The team opened his practice window and he has 21 days to make a return to the active roster, but Kittle made clear on Thursday that he’s back. “I fully plan on playing on Sunday,” Kittle said, via ESPN. “As long as [coach] Kyle [Shanahan] lets me. It’s up to him. But hopefully I’m out there. Which I think I will be.”
