In 2025, manufacturers from around the world launched new smartphones, and we want to know which was the best one that came to Canada.
Though Xiaomi just released the very cool 17 Pro Max with a screen on the back and Honor’s Magic V5 is the thinnest phone on the global market, we won’t be discussing them due to their lack of Canadian availability.
However, in Canada, Apple released the iPhone 17 Pro, Google launched the Pixel 10 Pro, Samsung pushed out the Galaxy S25 Ultra, the OnePlus 13 came out in January and the OnePlus 15 is launching next month. There were also foldable flagships like Motorola’s Razr Ultra, Pixel 10 Pro Fold and the Galaxy Z Fold 7, and incredibly thin phones like the iPhone Air and S25 Edge.
We’ve gotten pretty boring smartphones over the past few years, with Samsung and Google pushing out the same camera sensors over the last few years. However, the iPhone 17 Pro lineup has an interesting new design, the Z Fold 7 is incredibly thin for a foldable, and even the Nothing Phone 3 is nothing to scoff at.
This year, MobileSyrup will award the best phone to launch in Canada, but ahead of our awards, what do you think is the best phone to launch this year? Let us know in the comments below.
