Toronto police have charged a 52-year-old building superintendent in connection with a series of alleged sexual assaults involving two young kids.
Investigators say the incidents occurred between January 2024 and October 2025 while the accused was working at an apartment building near Islington Avenue and Rexdale Boulevard.
According to police, the man “befriended” an 8-year-old and a 10-year-old girl and allegedly sexually assaulted both on multiple occasions.
It’s also alleged that on Oct. 14, he broke into the girl’s apartment and attempted to lure them outside.
On Oct. 15, members of the Child and Youth Advocacy Centre (CYAC) and 23 Division arrested Oscar Campos, 52, of Toronto.
He was charged with break and enter, five counts of Sexual Assault, five counts of sexual interference, two counts of making child pornography and two counts of possession of child pornography.
None the charges have been tested or proven in court.
However, police say Campos appeared in court at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre, on Oct. 17.
Investigators are concerned there may be additional victims. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
