New WWE Tag Team Forms

WWE

It appears a new WWE tag team has formed, making a first appearance together at last night’s NXT live event in Venice, Florida.

NXT had an untelevised show in Venice last night, which featured Lexis King in action against Drake Morreaux.

However, before the show, King revealed a potential new partnership, posting a video of himself arriving at the show with Brooks Jensen, along with the caption:

I’ve had a TARGET on my back for far too long!!!

If people want a shot at the King they are gonna have to answer to my right hand man @BrooksJensenWWE first!

Tonight in Venice, FL we are going to see at #nxtlive who has the balls to step in the ring with the KING #veniceflorida

Brooks Jensen also wrote: “Whether it’s Hollywood or Venice. This is the start of something great.”

Jensen was indeed in King’s corner for his match against Morreaux, which saw King pick up the win.

If their partnership does end up translating to TV, it would be a pairing of two sons of former WWE stars, with Lexis King the son of Brian Pillman, and Brooks Jensen the son of Bull Buchanan.

It would also be the first new role for Jensen on NXT TV since he was kicked out of The Culling a number of months ago.

In the meantime, he’s been wrestling on WWE Evolve where he just lost a bullrope match against Tate Wilder.
