An unforced error for Chase Briscoe on the first green flag pit stops of the day. The 19 was hit with a speeding penalty. When it comes to the NASCAR Playoffs, this could be a catastrophic penalty for Briscoe.
Along with Chase Briscoe, Kyle Busch was hit with a speeding penalty on the first set of stops. Ross Chastain also grabbed himself a penalty for speeding. NASCAR is keeping a close eye on everybody today.
Briscoe and Busch have served their penalties. The stage is about to end, so it might not be all bad news. Getting back on the lead lap is what will be most important. If either driver goes multiple laps down before the end of the stage, it could be a day-ender.
