TULSA, Okla. – Members of the Temple women’s tennis team are set to compete in the 2025 American Fall Championships hosted by the Tulsa Golden Hurricane. Women’s tennis last competed in the ITA Northeast Regionals where most notably, Thamara Kawaratani and Irmak Ozturk advanced to the second round.
SCOUTING TEMPLE
Marianthi Christoforidou and Irmak Ozturk are slated to compete in round one of singles play against opponents from UTSA and Florida Atlantic, respectively.
Last time out, Freshman Tianni Zhou recorded the first win of her collegiate career in the ITA Regionals. Alongside Ozturk, the pair downed opponents from Drexel with an 8-2 score.
This same pair is set to compete in the first round of doubles against Nithesa Selvaraj and Divna Ratkovic of Rice.
