Closure occurred north of Britt early on Oct. 22

Highway 69 was fully reopened as of 1:48 p.m., the OPP reported via social media.

Highway 69 remains closed north of Britt and “the closure is expected to be in place for several hours,” the OPP reported via social media at 9 a.m. Ontario Provincial Police said two people were taken to a Sudbury area hospital with severe injuries.

Highway 69 is closed in both directions due to a collision. All lanes are closed. 

The closure was announced by Ontario 511 at 6:03 a.m. on Wednesday, and is described as taking place at Forest Access Road (E), Henvey Township, Still River.
