TULSA, OK – Hady ElKordy and Daniel Phillips will play for the Green Wave this weekend at the American Fall Championships, which will be contested at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
 
Fall singles and doubles champions will be crowned by the conference this week. The team championship competition will run during the spring semester, as usual.
 
The duo plays at 9 a.m. on Thursday in Round of 16 doubles action against Elijah Cham and Guglielmo Verdese of South Florida. Vasco Prata and Ivan Dreycopp of Charlotte will get the winners on Friday at 10 a.m. in the quarterfinals.
 
The semifinals (Saturday) and finals (Sunday) are also scheduled to be played at 9 a.m.
 
ElKordy’s Round of 32 singles match will be at 10 a.m. Thursday against Illias Worthington of Wichita State. That winner gets top-seeded Petro Kuzmenok of Rice on Friday at 2 p.m.
 
Phillips is the bracket’s No. 2 seed and has a bye to the Round of 16, where he will square off with the winner of Alejandro Jacome (Wichita State) and Simon Myslivec (Florida Atlantic) at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
 
The quarterfinals will be played on Friday, followed by the semifinals on Saturday and final on Sunday.
