In tonight’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode, as the Poddar family readies themselves for the Ram Leela, a masked Yuvraj approaches Abhira with a sinister plan, holding a syringe in his hand. Just as he moves closer to attack her, Armaan, who is rehearsing his bow and arrow, instinctively releases an arrow that strikes Yuvraj, causing him to fall.
Armaan rushes to Yuvraj, warning that he had feared someone might get hurt, but Yuvraj deliberately avoids meeting his gaze. In the background, the announcement for the Ram Leela echoes, and Kaveri directs everyone to prepare for the performance. Abhira, still on edge, keeps a wary eye on Yuvraj, visibly shaken by the incident. Meanwhile, Armaan immediately takes Abhira away from the scene.
Confessions and Concerns
Elsewhere, Kiara shares with Tanya that Abhir has confessed his feelings for her. Tanya gets excited, but Kiara points out that both Abhir and Kiara are still uncertain about their emotions. Tanya also mentions that she has hinted this to Kajal, which worries Kiara about how the family might react.
Yuvraj’s Hidden Intentions
Meanwhile, Yuvraj searches frantically for the syringe he dropped during his fall. At that moment, Maira arrives, holding the syringe and asks if he was looking for it. Yuvraj thanks her politely.
Curious, Maira questions why he has an injection, wondering if he is a doctor. Yuvraj calmly explains that he is there to treat someone, confident that Maira has no clue about his real intentions.
He then asks if she is playing Shri Ram in the Ram Leela. Maira confirms and adds that her mother said Shri Ram is very strong and punishes all the wrongdoers, just like he defeated Ravan. She then leaves, saying goodbye.
As Maira walks away, Yuvraj smiles to himself, thinking that she has no idea what’s coming. This time, he is coming fully prepared, and this Diwali, it will be the bad who triumph rather than the good.
Abhir and Kiara’s Moments
Abhir struggles to get into his costume, and Kiara steps in to assist him. Though Abhir insists he can manage, Kiara persuades him that it’s better to accept help than embarrass himself in front of everyone. Reluctantly, Abhir agrees, and when Kiara asks why he is smiling, he jokes that the Poddars might start gossiping if they see them together. Kiara blushes, while Abhir quickly reassures her that he was just teasing to make her smile.
Ram Leela Begins
As the Ram Leela begins, Kaveri calls Myra, Abhir, and Abhira to perform. The Poddars watch with delight. However, Abhira remains tense. Armaan notices her unease and asks what’s troubling her. She confides her fear that something might go wrong and asks Armaan to step in if needed. Armaan calms her, urging her to relax.
On stage, the play unfolds beautifully. Sanjay praises Abhir for his performance, while Manoj observes Kiara and Abhir together. Meanwhile, Sanjay talks about Kiara’s upcoming marriage, which upsets Abhir, prompting him to walk away. Abhira, Myra, and Abhir perform as Sita, Lakshman, and Ram, captivating the audience. Kaveri then tells Armaan to prepare for his role, and he begins rehearsing.

Yuvraj watches Abhira from a distance, plotting how to get close to her. Spotting Armaan practising, he hatches a sinister plan. Disguising himself in Armaan’s costume, Yuvraj knocks him unconscious. On stage, Abhira initially believes Armaan has come to join her, but as the play progresses and she steps outside the Lakshman Rekha, the disguised Yuvraj suddenly seizes her hand firmly. Sensing something is off, Abhira quickly realises it’s not Armaan and shouts for help.
