Nomad has officially launched its new Stratos Band, a premium strap designed specifically for the Apple Watch Ultra (but works for other models) after more than two years in development.

The band combines titanium for strength and FKM rubber for flexibility, aiming to offer a mix of style, durability, and comfort. Nomad says the goal was to create a band that “looks like a metal bracelet but wears like a high-performance band.”

The outer frame is made from Grade 4 titanium with a diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating to resist scratches, while the inside features soft FKM links with small ventilation channels to reduce moisture buildup. The band also uses a magnetic clasp made from nickel-plated neodymium magnets for a secure hold and improved corrosion resistance.

Users can fine-tune the fit using two half-sized links and adjustable spring bar points for small sizing tweaks. The band is available in three colors and priced as a high-end upgrade for Apple Watch users who want a mix of rugged design and everyday wearability.

Nomad says Stratos Band was built to handle everything from workouts to office wear, designed to be “as comfortable as it is capable.” It’s available in Black, Ultra Orange and Volt colours. It also works with Apple Watch 1-11 and SE.

The Statos Band costs $259 CAD on the Nomad website and ships by October 28.
