HOUSTON – The University of Houston Soccer team collected its 10th point in Big 12 Conference play with a 0-0 draw against Kansas State on Thursday evening at the Carl Lewis International Complex.

Kansas State (7-5-4, 2-4-3 Big 12) stayed on the front foot with 20 shots on the evening, but graduate goalkeeper Lexi Gonzalez held the Wildcats in check with a season-high 12 saves on the night.

 

Senior Cameryn Maddox and freshman Samira Minor led Houston (7-3-6, 2-3-4 Big 12) with two shots each.

Houston hosts #16 Baylor in its home finale at 6 p.m., Sunday for its annual Go Pink for a Cure match. An assortment of pink items will be available at the marketing tent while supplies last.
