Malcolm in the Middle star Frankie Muniz was recently in Vancouver filming a limited reboot of the hit show, and he just gave fans another behind-the-scenes look with a heartwarming cast reunion photo.
“I was told not to post this yet, but then I listened to this song. I’m just too excited for y’all to see the new episodes and I miss my brothers,” Muniz captioned the photo, which shows him standing with Justin Berfield and Christopher Masterson.
Berfield and Masterson play Malcolm’s older brothers, Reese and Francis, on the hit series.
Not pictured was Caleb Ellsworth-Clark, who will be taking over the role of younger brother Dewey.
The wholesome photo was taken at Vancouver Film Studios at 3500 Cornett Rd. According to Creative BC, the Malcolm in the Middle shoot was expected to last about one month between April and May.
Fans on social media loved Muniz’s BTS photo, favouriting the image over 200,000 times on X and liking it nearly 900,000 times on Instagram.
“You guys aged like fine wine. So great to see you back,” said one commenter.
“Did you handsome bastards forget to age the last 20 years or what,” added another.

Variety reports that the new season will have four episodes and will air on Disney+.
The publication noted that the reboot will focus on Hal (Bryan Cranston) and Lois’ (Jane Kaczmarek) 40th wedding anniversary party. Malcolm (Muniz) is all grown up and has a daughter, and the pair is drawn into more family chaos because of this reunion.
