A WWE star turned heel on tonight’s episode of SmackDown, setting up a future championship match at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Over the past few months, Jade Cargill and Tiffany Stratton have been at war over the WWE Women’s Championship, dating back to Jade’s Queen of the Ring victory and match with Tiffany at SummerSlam.
Tiffany has come out on top in all of the pair’s encounters, but it seems that they are set for yet another title match, and a different side of Jade Cargill.
On tonight’s SmackDown, Tiffany scored the victory over Kiana James, which led to Tiffany being jumped by Kiana and Giulia after the match, before Jade made the save for Tiffany.
Jade raised Tiffany’s arm after the fight, before she would end up taking Tiffany down with a clothesline, before attacking her around ring side, and stomping on her knee on the steel steps.
It was reported that one more match between Jade and Tiffany for the title is planned to take place at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event next weekend.
