Joseph Parker vs. Fabio Wardley is on October 25 from The O2 Arena in London. The building can hold up to 20,000 people.

The main card starts at 6 p.m. GMT and the main event should begin around 10 p.m. GMT, depending on how long the undercard fights last.

Parker (36-3) is a former WBO heavyweight champion. After losing gold against Anthony Joshua in 2018, Parker has gone 12-2. After a fight against Daniel Dubois got scrapped, he’s had to once again work his way to another title shot.

The fighter from New Zealand believes his experience in championship-level fights can help him on fight night.

“I think any heavyweight can put someone else’s light out. But going into this fight, I do believe there’s levels in this sport, and I’ve been in this game for a long time and grateful to have been in this game for a long time and still operate at the highest level, and it’ll be nice to see what kind of challenges he’s going to bring,” Parker told Sky Sports.

Wardley (19-0) is a former English, British, and Commonwealth heavyweight champion. The Ipswich-born fighter beat Justis Huni in June for the interim WBA title.

The 30-year-old watched Parker in action years back and believes in his skills now.

“He [Parker] won his first world title in 2016,” Wardley said via Boxing Scene. “In 2016, I was still fighting as a white-collar [boxer]. So, yeah, it’s a bit of a funny one. I think that’s probably the first time I saw him… I remember sitting in the pub with my friends, watching the fight [against Joshua], and just looking at it and not… And, again, having no real thought, concept, plan of, ‘Oh, I’m going to be after you in a few years’, and just watching it as a casual and as a fan.

“But 10 years later, look, here we are, and it’s me and him. I think that night I might have had a few [beers], yeah, but I’m not the type to get leery or something like that.”
