The World Food Programme (WFP), the world’s largest humanitarian organization and a 2020 Nobel Peace Prize laureate, is seeking a Graphic Designer to join its Partnerships Visibility Team within the Private Sector Partnerships (PSP) Division. Purpose of the Role

The Graphic Designer will lead the creation and enhancement of high-quality visual materials to support WFP’s private sector partnerships and fundraising strategy. Reporting to the Editorial Communications Officer, the designer will deliver compelling, brand-consistent creative content across digital and print platforms to inspire support, strengthen partnerships, and showcase WFP’s impact.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Design & Branding

Lead the design and production of pitch decks, campaign materials, and marketing assets in line with WFP’s brand identity.

Ensure a unified and professional visual language across all products, from donor presentations to digital campaigns.

Collaborate with PSP leadership to revise and update existing materials for visual consistency and quality.

Campaign Development

Create original campaign visuals, infographics, and layouts for WFP’s website, social media channels, and partner platforms.

Design creative assets such as icons, illustrations, templates, and partnership toolkits tailored to specific audiences.

Contribute to major global initiatives such as World Food Day, emergency response campaigns, and strategic events.

Audiovisual and Multimedia Work

Support the production and editing of audiovisual content that highlights WFP’s collaboration with private sector partners.

Enhance visual storytelling by integrating design elements into videos and digital features.

Collaboration and Consultation

Work closely with writers, communications specialists, and technical teams to align creative outputs with messaging objectives.

Provide design expertise and guidance across PSP to help shape the visual identity of key projects and campaigns.

Deliverables

Production of high-quality, visually cohesive partnership and marketing materials.

Development of campaign visuals and creative assets for both WFP and partner channels.

Consistent updates and refinements to existing design materials.

Creation of custom visuals, icons, templates, and infographics for toolkits and events.

Design support for audiovisual communications that promote WFP’s impact stories.

Qualifications and Experience

Education:

University degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, Multimedia Design, or a related field; or a minimum of five years of relevant professional experience.

Experience:

At least five years of professional experience in graphic design, preferably in international organizations, media agencies, or global nonprofits.

Proven experience in translating complex data and concepts into visually compelling graphics and infographics.

Strong understanding of branding, layout, and composition principles.

Technical Proficiency:

Advanced command of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).

Experience with PowerPoint and online design tools such as Canva.

Strong data visualization skills, with an ability to simplify technical or analytical content.

Video editing skills for social media content are an asset.
