The Ministry of Natural Resources is trying to find out who is responsible for illegally dumping moose meat northeast of Kenora.
The moose carcass and butchered moose meat, wrapped in butcher’s paper were found dumped near Highway 671.
The moose meat was dumped on or before October 19th.
Anyone with information that might assist conservation officers with their investigation is asked to call the MNR tips line at 1-877-847-7667, or contact any local MNR office.
You can also provide information anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
