LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — Get ready for a weekend packed with fun and community spirit at the Otter Creek Community Outreach Event this Saturday, July 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 13000 Quail Run Dr.

This free, family-friendly event promises a variety of activities and resources for everyone.

Attendees can enjoy free food distribution, blood pressure and glucose checks, and access to home healthcare resources.

Kids will be able to play in the event’s designated kids zone filled with fun activities.

Plus, with free school supplies being offered, it’s an opportunity for families to prepare for the upcoming school year.

The event is sponsored by a host of community-minded organizations, including the Otter Creek Community Church Food Pantry, The Salvation Army, and the Arkansas Department of Health, among others.

Organizers are eager to see a large turnout.

Sunday, July 27, the Chosen Law Group is hosting a Back-to-School Community Block Party from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the downtown Little Rock Rivermarket.

Food and games will be provided, including free school supplies and haircuts for kids.

Later that day, the King of Fitness Boxing Club is sponsoring the King of Fun Day on July 27 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 5202 Mabelvale Pike.

It will feature free school supplies, food, fun, and outdoor boxing matches.
