The best and brightest in school golf took to the course to see who’d come out on top.

OUTLOOK — The West Central District Golf Championships brought together talented young golfers from across the region for two exciting competitions this past September.

The Senior Golf Districts were held in Rosetown on Sept. 16, with 51 golfers taking on the well-prepared Rosetown Golf Club course under hot and sunny skies. The top four male and female golfers advanced to provincials at Kenosee Lake on Sept. 26–27.

At provincials, West Central golfers represented the district with pride. Claire Kosolofski of Kindersley placed an impressive sixth out of approximately 45 competitors, shooting 179 over two rounds. Ethan King of Outlook also put together a solid performance against a strong field of male golfers.

The Junior Golf Districts followed on Sept. 24 at Saskatchewan Landing. Despite strong winds, players enjoyed a well-groomed course, sunshine, and great company.
