It’s spooky season, that time of year when the ghost and goblins come out to play, and rob you of ever increasingly costly candy.
For the kiddos and those carefree adults that choose to celebrate, it’s one of the best times of the year — and an excuse to get dressed up, or down, as the case may be! Of course, if you chose not to dress up or go out, there’s always horror movie marathons, as former Invicta atomweight champ Jillian DeCoursey chose to go with this year. Either way, the MMA world was celebrating.
And no, The Smashing Machine does not count as a horror movie, even if it was a box office massacre.
Below, we’ve selected some of the best costumes (and other posts) from the MMA community, as the mixed martial arts world celebrates Halloween 2025. As for the costume selection this year… Conor McGregor was noticeably and perhaps notoriously absent, as he’s been on a sabbatical from social media. Sean Strickland opted to dress as an ICE agent (or did the suspended former UFC middleweight champ just get a new job?).
Perhaps the winner this year is John Dodson, for a very well done couples Napoleon Dynamite getup. Check them all out below and judge for yourself!
Six straight hours of horror movies, little Lindsey Wallace won’t know what hit her

Very traumatic. So this chicken costume was about five times the size of what I thought it was going to be, and it had no hands.
got some hugs, mostly punches. And one kid goes “ throw the bad candy at it!”
