Amid Prince Andrew’s sexual abuse allegations, which were brought back to the forefront thanks to Virginia Giuffre’s posthumously-released memoir, NOBODY’S GIRL, it seems his daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, have made a not-so-subtle move on where they stand. Turns out, amid this past week of drama, they both left the country.

Let us explain. Per InStyle, both Beatrice and Eugenie left the country, and are seemingly focusing on their lives outside the royal family. Beatrice was photographed with friends in Paris on a girls’ trip, and Beatrice went to Saudi Arabia for the Future Investment Initiative.

Eugenie is an art gallery director and a board member of Goals House, so it makes sense that she’d be in Paris with her pals. As for Beatrice, she’s actually the vice president of partnerships and strategy at the U.S. software company Afiniti.

So not only are Eugenie and Beatrice leaving the UK amid all the drama, albeit for a short time, they’re also focusing on their own lives outside of the royal family.

While there have been musings of them losing their titles as well as their parents, Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, King George V’s Letters Patent of 1917 make it so they both remain princesses and continue to have the styling of Her Royal Highness. However, amid King Charles III trying to limit the royal circle, it makes sense that the royal family isn’t the Princesses’ biggest priority.
