Amy Slaton and her fiancé, Brian Lovvorn, are married!
The “1000-lb Sisters” star got married Friday, Oct. 31, less than a year after she got engaged, per People.
Slaton and Lovvorn’s Halloween ceremony was fittingly held at the Talbott Tavern in Bardstown, Kentucky, a site that is believed to be haunted.
“My wedding is a dream finally coming true,” Slaton told the outlet. “I’m getting my happily ever after!”
Slaton and Lovvorn had a small, intimate wedding with an “old-timey” vibe, complete with the theme “Victorian meets light gray meets dusty blue and white.”
For the occasion, Slaton donned a sleeveless white gown paired with a simple veil pinned to the back of her updo. The gown’s bodice was adorned with delicate appliqués that featured a floral and vine motif.
Lovvorn also matched the theme, wearing a dark tailcoat paired with a pair of black pants, a white shirt and a black bowtie.
Slaton’s look was complete with a bold hair color, at the request of her husband. She told People that she dyed her hair a “special color” for her wedding and previously told the outlet, “Brian wants me to have pink hair for the wedding, and I want to have a Victorian style updo.”

The couple waited until the wedding processional to see each other on their special day and exchanged traditional vows during the ceremony.
Slaton said that “getting married means that I’m no longer lonely because I’ve discovered my soulmate, Brian, is my happy place!”
“Once you get to know him, you’ll find him to be the sweetest, most caring person you’ll ever have the pleasure of knowing,” she added.
Lovvorn and Slaton first met at a concert in the park. However, Slaton told People she knew that Lovvorn was “the one” when he met her children.
Slaton is a mom of two sons, whom she welcomed with ex-husband Michael Halterman: Gage, born in November 2020, and Glenn, born in July 2022.
Slaton recalled to People how Lovvorn put a Ring Pop on her finger while she was sleeping just two weeks into their relationship.
“I was shocked at first, and I said yes but only if the real proposal was in a haunted house on Halloween,” she recalled.
They eventually got engaged near the end of 2024, though the special moment played out during a May 2025 episode of “1000-Lb Sisters.” After five months of dating, Lovvorn popped the question inside a haunted house in Kentucky, with Slaton’s sisters Tammy and Misty as witnesses.
The TLC star said that she was thrilled her engagement “will be over with soon.” She said the couple were planning a “small, quaint” wedding and that they both “always wanted to get married on Halloween.”
Slaton looked forward to being able to call Lovvorn her husband and to “get to spend the rest of my life with him.”
“Our engagement life may be short, but our marriage will last an eternity!” she added.
