John Cena has provided an update on his final WWE opponent at Saturday Night’s Main Event on tonight’s show.
Cena has just 4 dates remaining on his WWE retirement tour, with his next scheduled appearance set for the November 10 episode of Raw in Boston.
Cena will compete in his final match at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13 in Washington DC, and there has been a lot of speculation regarding who he may face on the show.
On tonight’s Saturday Night’s Main Event show, Cena addressed the subject of his final WWE opponent.
On the show, a video package narrated by Cena aired, where he announced that a 16-man tournament will begin on the November 10 episode of Raw in Boston.
The tournament will feature stars from Raw, SmackDown, NXT and “even some names that don’t work here”, with the winner being Cena’s final opponent on December 13 at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
No names have been confirmed for the tournament yet, and we will provide an update on the tournament as they become available.
