YouTuber Kingmi Mobile has uploaded a video to his channel, showing the difference in AnTuTu scores between a regular iPhone 17 Pro Max and one that has been retrofitted with a water-cooling system. The video also shows the gap in performance between a standard RedMagic 11 Pro+ and one that has had its water-cooling system removed.
Before any modifications were made, the iPhone had a total AnTuTu score of 2,456,045 (the scores in the individual categories were not shown in the video). After modifying the iPhone by removing the back and inserting a water-cooling component removed from the RedMagic 11 Pro+, the YouTuber ran a second test. This time, the iPhone 17 Pro Max scored 2,652,045 points: 827,447 in CPU, 1,064,431 in GPU, 365,347 in memory, and 394,820 in UX.
As for the RedMagic 11 Pro+, before the removal of of water-cooling system, it scored a total of 4,144,376: 1,260,914 in CPU, 1,411,676 in GPU, 547,845 in memory, and 923,897 in UX. After the modification, it scored a total of 4,124,867: 1,241,894 in CPU, 1,414,115 in GPU, 562,261 in memory, and 906,597 in UX.
Looking at the results, the performance gap is less significant for the RedMagic device (less than 1%) than it is for the Apple counterpart (8%). There was also a third phone in the video — an iPhone XR, which showed little difference as well.
Note: AnTuTu tests take a few minutes to complete, but the effectiveness of water cooling will likely be more noticeable when carrying out prolonged, heavy tasks.

I have always been fascinated by technology and digital devices my entire life and even got addicted to it. I have always marveled at the intricacy of even the simplest digital devices and systems around us. I have been writing and publishing articles online for about 6 years now, just about a year ago, I found myself lost in the marvel of smartphones and laptops we have in our hands every day. I developed a passion for learning about new devices and technologies that come with them and at some point, I asked myself, “Why not get into writing tech articles?” It is useless to say I followed up the idea — it is evident. I am an open-minded individual who derives an infinite amount of joy from researching and discovering new information, I believe there is so much to learn and such a short life to live, so I put my time to good use — learning new things. I am a ‘bookworm’ of the internet and digital devices. When I am not writing, you will find me on my devices still, I do explore and admire the beauty of nature and creatures. I am a fast learner and quickly adapt to changes, always looking forward to new adventures.
