Morocco’s Badreddine Diani and Salah Eddine Hamli will aim to claim PFL MENA gold when the Professional Fighters League (PFL) holds its season finale, PFL MENA Finals: All or Nothing, at the Dhahran Expo in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia on 5 December.
Diani faces Kuwait’s Mohammad Alaqraa in the welterweight final, hoping to avenge a previous defeat and secure the PFL MENA Championship Belt and $100,000. Alaqraa enters off a rapid 21-second TKO over Ayman Galal, while Diani reached the final after a hard-fought split decision against Amir Fazli.
In the co-main event, Hamli will contest the lightweight title against undefeated Iraqi Mohammad Fahmi. The Moroccan grappler, who submitted Souhil Tairi in the semifinals, is aiming to continue his perfect record and claim the league’s top prize. Fahmi also comes into the final with an unblemished record, having secured his spot via submission.
The card will also feature finals in the featherweight and bantamweight divisions, with Egypt’s Islam Reda facing Algeria’s Yanis Ghemmouri, and Jordanian Nawras Abzakh taking on Egypt’s Islam Youssef. Saudi Arabia’s women’s MMA pioneer Hattan Alsaif will make her professional debut against Egypt’s Haidy Ahmed.
Fights will be streamed for free across the MENA region via the STARZPLAY App. The event will mark the culmination of PFL MENA’s second season, which has brought together the region’s top mixed martial artists in a “win and advance” tournament format.
