Viking Motorsports has confirmed Parker Retzlaff as the driver of its No. 99 Chevrolet for the 2026 NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series. The move signals a major step for both the young driver and the emerging team as they prepare for the upcoming season.

Retzlaff, 22, transitions from Alpha Prime Racing after a solid campaign in 2025 that included a career-best second-place finish at Rockingham Speedway. Over his career in NASCAR’s second-tier series, he has accumulated more than 100 starts, earning multiple top-five and top-ten finishes along with two pole positions.

Viking Motorsports, which entered the series in 2024, is looking to build momentum after parting ways with Matt DiBenedetto late in the 2025 season. The team has also added experienced crew chief Danny Efland to lead the No. 99 program, aiming to strengthen its technical and strategic capabilities.
