It is thought to be in connection with an incident from 2017.

He has also been told not to visit their school, workplace or home.

Trailer Park Boys Inc. have released a statement which confirmed that Smith has stepped away from his role as managing director.

The statement reads: “We are aware of the allegation concerning Mike Smith dating back to 2017 and take such matters seriously.

“We recognize how difficult an allegation of this nature is for all involved.

“Out of respect for the legal process, we will not comment further on the case.”

Smith played one of the three main characters, Bubbles, in 116 episodes of the much-loved TV series.

The mockumentary TV comedy first came to screens in 2001 and ran until 2007.

Netflix eventually picked up the show in 2014.

This led to the release of five more seasons as well as several made-for-TV movies.

The show’s 13th season was announced in January.

It is scheduled to premiere in April 2026.

This is not the first time that Smith has been in trouble with the law.

He was arrested in 2016 after he allegedly pinned a woman against a wall.

However, the Los Angeles City Attorney ultimately decided not to prosecute, citing a lack of evidence.

Mike Clattenburg, the creator of Trailer Park Boys, is yet to issue a statement.
