Photographer David Kennedy will deliver presentation at Nov. 12 meeting

November meeting of the camera club: Wednesday, Nov. 12, 7:30 p.m. at the Orillia Recreation Centre, multi-purpose room.
David Kennedy will present on:
Why black and white photography continues to be an important art form
How easy it is with the modern mirrorless cameras and ways to convert your colour RAW file to black and white
How to utilize infrared for unique black and white images
David has a mirrorless camera that has been converted to infrared only and he will review how he uses this camera and how to process infrared raw files into black and white.
David enjoys both colour and black and white photography but some of his favourite images are in black and white.
David is a past president of the Orillia Camera Club and the Toronto Focal Forum. He has exhibited at local galleries and participated in the Images Studio Tour and Coldwater Art Tour. He is presently recognized as a master-level photographer in the Richmond Hill Camera Club.
Many of David’s stunning images are taken locally in Orillia, Oro-Medonte and surrounding areas. He was formerly president of the Copeland Forest Friends and many of his images are taken from there. His photography is an extension of his passion for the natural environment and the beauty of the world.
