Canadian football fans looking to celebrate the playoffs are invited to Peak of the Market’s booth at the Family Fun Zone during the Grey Cup Festival. Fans can compete in potato sack races, pick up a free mini football, and meet Rosie the Red Potato, the company’s mascot. Fans can also collect one of two limited-edition player cards of Rosie, officially launching during the event, by participating in the races.
The Canada Life Family Zone is a free, interactive, family-friendly hub offering fun games, activities, and entertainment for fans of all ages. It runs from November 12 to 15 and is located inside The University of Winnipeg’s Axworthy Health & RecPlex. Throughout the area, fans from across the league can test their football skills in exciting drills, enjoy interactive games and activities, and explore sponsor activations.

“I’m excited to welcome CFL fans from across Canada to Winnipeg and take part in our friendly community, love for football, and maybe some Manitoba veggies too,” said Pamela Kolochuk, chief executive officer of Peak of the Market. “Make sure you stop by to meet our loveable mascot, Rosie the Red Potato.”
The company has been a corporate partner of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers since 2022, supplying players with fresh vegetables throughout training camps and highlighting Manitoba’s agricultural industry during games. Throughout the year, representatives from the Winnipeg Blue Bombers volunteer with the company, packing and distributing vegetables to those in need across Manitoba.
