Chicago Sky star Angel Reese has seemingly confirmed her relationship status with an NBA player on social media after previously discussing her dating situation

WNBA star Angel Reese has taken to social media to confirm her relationship status. Recently, she shared a series of 10 photos and videos on Instagram, giving fans a glimpse into her life and off-season workouts since the end of the 2025 WNBA season.
Interestingly, in three of the photos, Reese is seen sporting Orlando Magic gear, seemingly confirming rumors of her relationship with star forward Wendell Carter Jr. , which have been circulating for months.
Adding to this, Reese shared a screenshot of a post that read: “ion post my boo or my money just know i got both.” It comes after Reese revealed she had signed a new long-term contract after appearing at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.

Echoing this sentiment, she captioned her photo series: “rebranding and yes, i got both.”
One fan responded by saying: “Heavy on the ‘I got both’. Love it. And you deserve both. S— you deserve it all. Shine black girl shine.”
This update from Reese comes after months of speculation about her relationship status and nearly a year after she called out fans for leaking details of a previous relationship. On social media, Reese had previously posted a message targeting those who speculated about her dating life.
“Now i see why people hide relationships and keep everything private,” Reese’s post began, with a crying emoji in November 2024. “like i don’t think i’ll ever openly share that part of my life with yall again until im married cause yall do THE MOST!”

She made another vow, writing: “it will literally have to be all assumptions and speculations cause absolutely NOT,” with a crying and a rolling laughter emoji. During that period, speculation swirled on social media that the athlete was romantically linked to Detroit Pistons forward Jalen Duren, though Reese herself clarified her dating priorities.
“I’m not looking for a man. I’m looking just for happiness in life,” she revealed to Shaquille O’Neal during an episode of her ‘Unapologetically Angel’ podcast. When O’Neal pushed her about her ideal partner requirements, she declared: “A high caliber man. A smart, nice and genuine man. But he cannot be a house husband.
“I like danger. I want people to think my man is attractive yes. He’s got to be a strong, confident man.”
Roughly a month afterward, Reese shared her particular dating standards with Coco Jones.

“I like a man who is not too cute. You can’t be too cute for me,” Reese revealed during their conversation. “You shouldn’t be taking a selfie before me … Why are you taking longer than me? I should be teaching you skincare.”
Reese further disclosed that she wouldn’t consider dating someone shorter than herself, admitting she wasn’t sure if she possessed the “confidence to date a man shorter” than her. Moreover, in an earlier episode of her podcast, the 23 year old expressed a desire to date an NBA player.
Given her rumored relationship with Carter, it appears she may have manifested her wish into reality.
