These last few months have been ripe with celebrity sightings, including many comedians like John Mulaney, Zach Galifianakis, and Nick Kroll. Now, another American comedian has been spotted enjoying a cup of coffee in the city: Bill Burr.

Shared by his wife and actress, Nia Renee Hill, on her Instagram story, Burr was seen enjoying a drink at the Gastown location of much-loved local coffee chain Nemesis.

In the video, Hill asked Burr what he thought of his drink. While we don’t quite catch exactly what he says, it appears he said “it’s good” with a nod of approval.

“It’s good? Yeah!” added his wife, who was drinking an iced matcha that she also enjoyed.

Nemesis has been making waves in the Metro Vancouver cafe scene with some major expansion over the last year. Recently, it opened a location in Surrey at the Surrey Pavilion and in Coquitlam at the TriCity Pavilion. It also launched its first solo location for its bakery brand, Dope Bakehouse, in North Vancouver.

As for Burr, he is best known for his stand-up comedy and his acting, having been in multiple projects such as The Mandalorian and Breaking Bad. Currently, he is facing some backlash after performing at the Riyadh Comedy Festival in Saudi Arabia alongside other comedians like Aziz Ansari, Pete Davidson, and Kevin Hart.

While the reason for Burr being in Vancouver has not been confirmed, it could have something to do with The Social Network sequel filming in the city, in which he has been rumoured to be part of, alongside Jeremy Strong, Jeremy Allen White, and Mikey Madison.
