WNBA superstar Caitlin Clark is back on the golf course and, more importantly, back feeling fully healthy once again.
“I’m feeling back to 100 percent,” the Indiana Fever star said Wednesday (12 November) during an interview aired on the Golf Channel, as she took part in the 2025 Annika Pro-Am in Belleair, Florida. “I’ve been trying to take advantage of the fall weather in Indianapolis before it gets too cold… obviously, being down here in Florida, the weather makes it pretty easy to play some golf.”
Clark missed most of her sophomore season due to various injuries. She won’t play in Unrivaled, the new 3×3 league, this season, giving her plenty of time to work back to 100 percent ahead of the start of the WNBA season in May.
For now, she’s taking full advantage of the downtime and Florida’s warmer weather.
“I stay pretty busy so I don’t get to play [golf] as much as I’d like, but when I do it’s always fun,” Clark said Wednesday.
This is her second straight appearance at the Annika Pro-Am. Clark was joined on the course by Olympic gold medallist Nelly Korda and NCAA standout Lauren Nguyen, while Fever teammates Sophie Cunningham and Lexie Hull took part as her caddies.
“It’s nerve-racking, getting up in front of a bunch of people and having to hit a golf ball,” Clark joked. “But they make this event fun.”
Best moment of the day? “That [on No. 10] was probably my best drive of the day. I’m happy with it.”
