Two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Busch is set to make his return to the iconic Snowball Derby at Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Florida, as he officially threw his name into the hat for the 58th edition of the prestigious super late model event.
Busch signaled his entry into the race via a social media video shared on Thursday afternoon.
Busch, 40, has captured the Tom Dawson trophy twice. The first time that the Las Vegas native scored the win in the Snowball Derby was in 2009, and he also took the victory in the 50th annual Snowball Derby in 2017.
