LOGAN, Utah – Utah State head golf coach Dean Johansen announced on Thursday the signing of Bryce Grieb. Grieb will join the Aggie program next fall for the 2026-27 season.
“We are excited to add Bryce to our Aggie golf team,” said Johansen. “He has had a very successful amateur career to this point. His abilities and competitive nature will undoubtedly drive him to be an exceptional college player here at Utah State. He comes from a great family that has taught him well.”
Grieb attends Summit High School in Bend, Oregon, and is a three-year letterwinner and two-time team captain. He has helped the Storm to Oregon Class 5A State Championships in 2023 and 2024 and three straight Intermountain Conference (IMC) District Championships.
Grieb, who will be competing in his senior season this spring, earned Oregon Class 5A All-State honors as a freshman, sophomore and junior. He was the state runner-up as a sophomore, placed sixth at state as a junior and ninth as a freshman.
Grieb was named his team’s MVP in each of the past two seasons as he was the IMC District Individual Champion in 2024 and 2025. He was named the 2024 Bend Bulletin Golfer of the Year and was voted his team’s Rookie of the Year in 2023.
During the summer of 2025, Grieb placed in the top 10 in eight of the 10 tournaments he competed in.
Grieb’s brother, Brody, plays golf for Trinity University.
