Charlie Cummings dives into his favorite Stefon Diggs prop bet for the New York Jets at New England Patriots Week 11 matchup.
The New England Patriots are rolling, and Stefon Diggs is rolling along with them. He caught a touchdown from MVP candidate Drake Maye for the third straight game on Sunday and has truly found his rhythm in New England. He has another chance to cook on Thursday night against the New York Jets.
Looking at the odds for the Week 11 Thursday Night Football matchup, the Patriots enter as 12.5-point favorites and hold -850 odds on the moneyline on DraftKings Sportsbook. The Jets hold +575 odds of pulling off the outright upset, with the game total set at 43.5 points.
Let’s dig into my favorite Stefon Diggs prop bet for this TNF showdown.
Best Stefon Diggs Prop Bets
The problem for Diggs isn’t the Jets’ pass defense. They had respectable numbers going into the trade deadline, but now that Sauce Gardner is with the Indianapolis Colts, I expect this unit to collapse down the stretch. Without a top CB1 to keep Diggs under wraps, he should be able to find himself open — often.
The problem here is that the Jets are generally not very good. The line for the Patriots at home is 12.5 points, with the projected game script favoring New England’s run game. Diggs still has some big-play potential and will be open often, but I have some concerns about how productive he can be before this game gets out of hand.
Diggs remains an exceptional chain-moving wideout, but when the chains are moving constantly on the ground, he will find himself blocking more often than moving downfield. The value here is in his receiving yards under. Maybe he burns New York deep once or twice, but if he doesn’t, the volume won’t be there to sustain a big night.
Best Stefon Diggs Prop Bet: Under 56.5 Receiving Yards (-114)
