Josh Williams will make his return to full-time racing next season and beyond after a signing a multi-year deal with a familiar team.

According to a Friday announcement, the Florida native will reunite with DGM Racing. He will drive the No. 92 Chevrolet full-time in the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series while surpassing 250 career starts.

Williams will kick off his fifth full-time season with DGM Racing, the team with which he has spent the majority of his NASCAR career and achieved the most success. He has posted 11 of his 17 top-10 finishes with the Mario Gosselin-owned team and the best average finish of his career (18.6 in 2020).

“The entire Gosselin family has been nothing but great to me my entire NASCAR career, and I consider them family of my own,” Williams shared in a press release.

“I’m thankful to have the opportunity to bring an amazing group of partners to the team that are ready to support our dream of taking this team to the next level – something that everyone at DGM deserves. I’m confident that Steve will be a huge asset to our group, and I look forward to working alongside him and Mario to put the No. 92 up front and build something special for years to come.”

As part of the announcement, DGM Racing celebrated the addition of two key figures. Reed Sorenson, a former NASCAR driver, will reunite with Williams as his spotter. Sorenson previously guided Williams during the standout 2020 campaign featuring six top-10 finishes.

Additionally, Steve Addington will become the full-time crew chief for the No. 92 team. The veteran crew chief has spent extensive time guiding teams across the three national series. He has celebrated 11 Xfinity Series wins and 20 Cup Series wins. This includes eight wins with Kyle Busch in 2008 and the 2010 Coca-Cola 600 with Kurt Busch.

This return to DGM Racing marks the end of an interesting chapter of Williams’ career. The veteran driver departed DGM Racing after the 2023 season to join Kaulig Racing. He took over the No. 11 in what appeared to be the best opportunity of his career.

This partnership did not last. Williams posted four top-10 finishes in his first season with the team and two more last season. However, Kaulig Racing parted ways with him after the trip to Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Williams then spent the rest of the 2025 season filling out his schedule with DGM Racing and Alpha Prime Racing.

Now, the veteran driver will return to DGM Racing on a full-time basis and will continue to build his relationship with the Florida-based team.

“It really is a full-circle moment welcoming Josh back to our organization,” said team owner Mario Gosselin. “We’ve spent countless hours working on race cars together, achieving some of our best results, and building memories that have shaped this team into what it is today.

“Josh is more than just a driver – he is a true friend of mine and someone that we all call family. He even shared his sponsor with me so I could race last off-season! He’s a racer through and through, and his passion makes him a perfect fit for our team as we enter a new era in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series.”
