South Carolina men’s soccer coach Tony Annan is bringing in a dozen players this summer, some from the high school ranks, a few from the NCAA Transfer Portal and another who played internationally. It’s almost an entire squad of newcomers who will team up with an already experienced roster from the spring.
With the start of the season now less than 30 days away, let’s take a glance and who’s coming in this summer and how they might fit into the squad. We profiled the forwards and defenders the other day, so now let’s take a look at the midfielders and the goalkeeper.
The men’s soccer team will play an exhibition game on Saturday, Aug. 9 at N.C. State at 6 p.m. Exactly one week later, the team will play a home exhibition against Wofford at 7 p.m.
