Serafima Shastova fell in the first round of the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championship on Tuesday, Nov. 18 in Orlando, Florida.

Shastova competed in the singles column, facing Washington’s Erika Matsuda in the opening round of play. Despite a loss in the first set, Shastova battled in the second to bring the set to a tiebreak. Ultimately, Shastova fell 6-2, 7-6(3).

The Orange have concluded play for the fall season.
