Barcelona boast four nominations, making them the second-most represented club. Lamine Yamal, Pedri, Raphinha, and Robert Lewandowski made the shortlist from the Spanish side.
Liverpool are third most-represented club as star forward Mohamed Salah is joined by record-signings Alexander Isak and Florian Wirtz on the shortlist.

The winner of the award will be announced after two voting stages. The first involves only online voters, while the winner is determined by public votes and a jury comprising football professionals.
Vinicius Junior won it last year, but the Real Madrid star is unlikely to retain it after enduring a poor season.
Dembele is the frontrunner, given that he won the Ballon d’Or and Champions League Player of the Season, potentially making him the fourth Frenchman to win it.
