Rocky View, Alta.’s Serenity Golf Club is set to expand by another 18 holes. The club currently has 36 holes in play.

Airdrie City View reports Rocky View County Council has approved a master site development plan and redesignation that will allow the club to expand to 54 holes.

Working with Alberta Wetlands, arrangements have been made to preserve the natural wetlands and add new manufactured wetlands.

About 255 golfers have played daily at Serenity over the past five years and it’s anticipated the number could increase another 30 per cent once the club expands to 54 holes.
